..::Sunday Madness!!!!::..

It’s Sunday!!! Yaaaaaay….Wait….There’s classes tomorrow…

Anyways, as I try to study for my Math class, work on an essay and do some reading my mom comes and tells me that I need to take care of my nephews that are staying home today while she goes take care of some problems. Needless to say I was not amused.

As if that wasn’t enough my computer decided to give up on me so I practically lost an 800 words essay…

And, to end this crazy post, I received some really rude comments on my Don’t Ask Don’t Tell post that I didn’t care to approve since they had nothing to do with the post. (Not from students from the class.)

Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell: Is Sexual Orientation Important When It Comes to Serving the Country?

Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is the common term for a policy that restricts openly gay, lesbian or bisexual citizens of the United States to serve in the army. ..::”Naughty” Sesame Street?::..

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , on September 23, 2010 by Yamil

This morning PBS announced that a clip from Sesame Street recorded for the show’s 41st season featuring the pop singer Katy Perry won’t air. The clip, which showed the artist singing a toned down G version of her hit “Hot N’ Cold” with Elmo, was discarded as parents after watching the leaked video on the Web were outraged to see Katy’s cleavage.

Frankly, I really don’t see what is wrong with the dress.  Katy Perry wouldn’t exactly be my first choice for an artist to appear at a children’s TV show considering her usual behavior but frankly I’m sure kids wouldn’t even be looking at her cleavage.

Anyways, what do you guys think? Is the video really inappropriate or is the whole controversy just overblown? Leave me your opinion on the comments section.
